How to shrink a PDF with PDF Shrink Size?

Step1 Add PDF

Click "Open PDF File" and choose PDF files in the left file panel.

 

Step2 Set Shrinking Parameters

Click "Options" to set compression algotithms.

Compression for black and white pictures: JPIG2,CCITT fax compression
Compression for color palette pictures: convert to true color image/flate compression
Compression for true color pictures: JPEG 2000,JPEG

If your PDF file has many line objects like CAD file, you have to choose "save PDF content as JPEG2000 image or save PDF content as black/white JBIG2 image.

Step3 Start shrinking PDF files

Click "Save PDF as" to begin shrinking PDF files.

User Guide about how to shrink a PDF

Step1 Add PDF file/Folder

Click "Add" to import your PDF file. If you want to shrink batch PDF files, click Add Folder.

PDF file encrypted with an open password will be marked with a lock icon. You have to select it and then click "unlock" to type open password in.

Step2 Select functions to perform

In the left panel - options for optimizer, turn on functions you want to perform and then click "Settings" to set:

Resample by scale, DPI and Width/Height.

Use a test PDF to set parameters to recognise PDF blank page.

Step 3 Shrink PDF

Click Optimise or Optimise as to start PDF shrink size.

Guide to use Hot Directory Mode

Click "Hot Directory Mode" to go to the Watch-folder interface:

Click Add you'll see:

Type in kinds of directory(folder) and then click ok. When you copy PDF files to the monitored directory and click Start, this PDF Shrink will compress it automatically.
